DURABLE School Charité, Berlin May 14-16
Pasteur Network is organising a school on “Research management during outbreaks” at Charité in Berlin, Germany from May 14-16, 2024.
The course is designed for research managers (project managers, program managers, legal professionals, etc.) and aims to provide knowledge on preparatory operational tools needed to respond to an outbreak effectively and in agreement with stakeholders. Additionally, it seeks to provide an understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks governing research during outbreaks. The agenda for the course can be downloaded below.
This course will present the role and responsibilities of each of the different management players in research during an outbreak, and will outline and provide tools – regulatory, legal, and organizational – for an improved workflow in the service of more effective research and rapid development of medical countermeasures (diagnosis, therapeutic and vaccines).
The main objective is to provide participants with an understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks governing research in epidemic situations, as well as the main priorities for action in terms of research management and the preparatory tools needed to respond effectively and harmoniously with other stakeholders, while establishing a community of research managers of/for DURABLE partners.
